Grand Opening

n~motion Studio celebrated their Grand Opening on Friday and Saturday, November 22nd and 23rd 2019

We launched the Grand Opening festivities with a Friday evening community celebration of live music featuring Gene Smith (saxophonist), dancing, raffles, refreshments, and oh so much fun as friends and family joined us in commemorating the event.

Prior to the ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, there was a Pre-Opening Kick Off where n~motion owners and teachers again had the pleasure of meeting, socializing, and interacting with a community of friends and supporters. The ribbon cutting took place at noon and n~motion studio was pleased to have in attendance Mayor O’Neal, Mayor Pro Tempore Heather Overman, and SC Representive Bruce Bryant – all of whom gave short speeches honoring n~motion. Nanette Baltz, n~motion co-owner, spoke on behalf of the n~motion board.

The grand opening continued throughout the day with 20-minute (mini) class sessions that provided students and those new to n~motion an opportunity to explore the array of class offerings we have available. We concluded with a mini-jam featuring each of the owners leading a nia kata.

The Logo Photo Wall was a big hit, as well as the temporary tattoos, freshly popped popcorn, raffle and FREE giveaways!
