Jessica "Jessi" Collette

Jessica Collette, lovingly known as "Jessi" at n~motion Studio, is a resident of Fort Mill where she lives with her husband Brian and son Paul. She is originally from North Carolina but later moved to California where she became certified in classical Himalayan yoga at the International Sivananda Yoga Farm. Jessi earned her Registered Yoga Teacher 200-level certification and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years with an extra interest in back, heart, and mental health care. To deepen her practice, she was certified in Yoga Nidra, a study that has become an integral part of her teaching style emphasizing relaxation and self-healing through accessing the true self. Although highly skilled in several types of yoga, Jessi continues to expand her knowledge and expertise. Interest in yoga’s ancient lineage of holistic healing for the mind, body, and spirit has made her a lifelong student who enjoys sharing her findings with others. Jessi is doing what she loves, and it is evident in the various classes she teaches (Chair Yoga, Deep Stretch, Gentle Yoga, Vinyasa) receiving ongoing praise and appreciation from all who experience her teaching style.
Outside of the studio, Jessi is an organic gardener who promotes natural healing using unprocessed foods in her meal preparation. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of these life-affirming skills with students, teachers, and seekers of total (physical, mental, emotional) peace and relaxation. It has been said that "laughter is the best medicine". In addition to all of her amazing skills, Jessi is known to bring a healthy dose of laughter that is both uplifting and energizing into her class environment. Jessi also has her own private practice in sound healing and massage therapy. She is CPR certified.
