Nia® White and Blue Belt Licensed Teacher, Holistic Arts of Reiki practitioner, Intuitive Healer and Production and Event Management specialist.

Amy is CPR Certified

In 2013, Amy was on a journey to heal, to find balance in her mind, body, and emotions.

While living in Charlotte, she came across a student-special-series at a local yoga studio and decided to join. Not one to sit still and truly embrace the benefits that yoga offers she was hesitant to try it out. After a few classes she was speaking to one of the students about her discontent with the stillness. “Have you tried NIA?” the student asked? “I think you will enjoy it, it has dance and some martial arts.” Intrigued at the possibility of good music and dance she took the chance. In the one hour class, she was able to connect to her body, emotions, spirit and mind. For her, no other movement practice has ever impacted her that way! Completely in awe of the healing components she received and witnessed in the other students, Amy knew this practice was huge! The dance, healing and martial arts took her breath away.

Discovering Nia® was no accident. Nia® helped her reconnect to herself, having more awareness of her body. Within a month, she took the leap and off she went to take her first certification! She has never looked back.

Amy has been teaching Nia® for 6 years, since 2013. She received her White Belt in July of 2013 and Blue Belt May 2019. She has co-taught in an annual Nia® retreat in Greece with Demi Yuvanu and has lead multiple workshops. Her style of Nia® is unique, tapping into her genuine love of the human connection and jazzy nature, she guides students on a journey of the senses. Her classes are infectious and full of Joy.
